Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson - born Jacqueline Luesby to Chris Watson and Jacqueline Luesby, two British lawyers, was born on July 8, 1989 in Paris. When she was a kid she attended her school, the Dragon School in Oxfordshire. Emma always had the desire to be a professional actress when she was just aged six. She studied at Stagecoach Theatre Arts in Oxford which is an acting academy which offers classes for part-time students. When she was 10, she had already taken part in numerous Stagecoach plays and productions. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) the 2001 version of J.K. Rowling's bestselling British book was released in 1999. Emma was discovered by agent through her Oxford teacher. David Heyman told Emma along together with Rupert Grint, Daniel Radcliffe after having eight straight auditions. The debut of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001) was Emma's debut on the screen in cinema. This film was 2001's highest production, and it broke records at the opening and the very first weekend. Critics gave high praise to the film, and especially the younger actors. The Daily Telegraph praised Emma for her performance. Emma received five nominations for her impressive performance. Later, she won the Young Artist Award in Leading Young Actress of a Film.
